アプリコットさんの公式設定とファンアートを一覧した後、私は少し不思議さを感じる空間にいるアプリコットを描くことに決めました。そのために、アンティークなデザインの家具、絵画、絵の具などが置かれた部屋をモチーフにし、絵全体を暗めに設定しました。固有の色を彩度の高い色で置き換えることは、私にとってこの作品を描く中で最も楽しい段階でした。この作品は、アプリコットさんの世界観を表現しつつ、不思議な雰囲気を漂わせる独自の空間を創り出すことができたらいいなっと思います。

After seeing Apricot's official settings and fan art, I decided to paint Apricot in a space that felt a bit magical. To achieve this, I used a room with antique designed furniture, paintings, and paints as a motif and set the entire painting in a darker setting. Replacing the inherent colors with saturated colors was the most enjoyable phase of painting this piece for me. I hope this work expresses Apricot's worldview while creating a unique space with a mysterious atmosphere.

Vtuberのイラストを描くなら、「バーチャル」という言葉からビビッドやサイバー、ネオンのようなモチーフを使用するのがいいのかな、とも考えましたが、 総長のビジュアルにある龍や桜の意匠から、浮世絵のようなイメージで描くことにしました。 メインとなるシンボルを中央に置き、遠目からでもわかりやすく、強烈な印象を与えられるように制作しています。 Vtuberというコンテンツからは沢山の元気や楽しみ、癒しをいただいています。 今後もより盛り上がり、龍のごとく永く続いていくことをお祈り申し上げます。

I thought that if I were to draw an illustration of a Vtuber, it would be better to use vivid, cyber, or neon motifs, given the word "virtual," but based on the dragon and cherry blossom design in the Chancellor's visual, I decided to use an ukiyo-e-like image. The main symbol is placed in the center of the design, making it easy to recognize from a distance and creating a strong impression. Vtuber content has given me a lot of energy, fun, and healing. We hope that Vtubers will continue to grow in popularity and continue to be like dragons for a long time to come.

なずなちゃんが普段持っている鍵を矢に見立て、配信や交流で人々の心を開く天使のイメージで描きました。 天使のように軽やかな印象にしたかったので、服を大胆に靡かせたり、浮いている鍵にリラックスして座っている構図を採用。 なずなちゃんは少しダークなモチーフも入っているので、黒やグレーで画面を引き締めてラブリーになりすぎないことも意識しました。 鍵の形状が独特で描いていてとても楽しかったです。ファンの方にも、これからファンになる方にも、なずなちゃんが放つ矢が届けば嬉しいなと思います。

I used the key that Nazuna-chan usually carries as an arrow and drew the image of an angel who opens people's hearts through delivery and interaction. I wanted to give the impression of an angelic lightness, so I boldly swept her clothes and adopted a composition in which she is sitting relaxedly on a floating key. Since Nazuna-chan also has a slightly dark motif, I was conscious of tightening the image with black and gray to prevent it from becoming too lovely. The shape of the key is unique and was a lot of fun to draw. I hope the arrows that Nazuna-chan shoots will reach her fans and those who will become her fans in the future.

普段の別名義でのアナログ作品において、素描や落書きの持つ軽やかさや作家の手の動きがイメージできるところが好きで、絵画にも取り入れたいと考え日々制作に取り組んでいます。そのため日本画材を使用した制作においては、スタンダードな日本画の制作プロセスとは少し違う素描の段階から画面に直接描き込む手法を取っており、また和紙そのものの美しさをそのまま生かしている部分があることと、比較的薄塗りで仕上げておりますので、近づいて見ていただくとその筆跡が見えると思います。ハルカさんの持つ神秘性や柔らかさが表現できていると嬉しいです。また、実物そのものを見る価値が伝わる作品になっていれば幸いです。

In the analog works I usually produce under another name, I like the lightness of drawings and scribbles that allow me to imagine the movement of the artist's hand, and I am always trying to incorporate this into my paintings. Therefore, when I work with Japanese painting materials, I use a method that is slightly different from the standard Japanese painting process, where I draw directly onto the canvas from the sketching stage, and I also use the beauty of Japanese paper as it is. If you look closely, you can see the brushstrokes. I am happy if I was able to express the mysteriousness and softness of Haruka's personality. I also hope that the work conveys the value of seeing the real thing itself.

このキャラの力強さを念頭に傍若無人な中にあるキュートさを意図しています。総長という男勝りな立場と健康的な肉体の女性らしいライン、キリッとした大人らしい顔立ちに弾けた笑顔というギャップの愛らしさを引き立たせることを特に重視しました。

With her strength in mind, I intended for her to be cute in a youthful way, with a special emphasis on accentuating the lovability of the gap between her masculine position as Souchou and the feminine lines of her healthy body, her crisp, mature face and her bouncing smile.

ハイブリットなキャラの妖艶さと下品さのバランスをとりつつ、さらに魅惑的になるように描いてみました。地球の娯楽に堕ちたものの力の衰えはなく健在している様子を、女性的官能に混じる逞しい稲妻で表現しました。

I tried to draw a balance between the bewitching and the lewdness of the hybrid character, while making it even more seductive. I expressed the fact that although she has fallen to the amusement of the earth, her power has not diminished and she is alive and well, with a robust lightning bolt mixed with feminine sensuality.

ゴシックでホラーな魅力が伝わってくるような1枚を描ければと思い、制作をしました。仄暗いお城の奥で開かれる秘密の集い、怪しげだけれどどこか惹き付けられる“魔力”があるお茶会というイメージです。
大きな作品になりましたが、細かな部分を見ても楽しめる絵にしたいと思い、家具や食器などの小物もたくさん登場させています。これらひとつひとつのモチーフも、Frootのイメージに合うように想像を膨らませながら描きました。

I created this work in the hope of creating a painting that conveys a gothic and horrifying charm. I imagined a secret gathering held in the depths of a dark castle, a tea party with a mysterious but somehow alluring "magic".

Although this is a large work, I wanted to create a painting that could be enjoyed even when looking at the smallest details, so I included many small items such as furniture and tableware. I drew each of these motifs in my imagination to match Froot's image.

I was in charge of the illustration of Amemiya Nazuna. While bringing to the forefront the good points of the new costume design, I also included some elements of the initial costume design on the screen to create a piece that brings together the past and present of Amemiya Nazuna. I hope everyone likes it.

今回の作品では、HENTAI文化とアートを横断する存在であるProjekt Melodyを現代の「遊び女（あそびめ）」として捉えなおし、日本の夜の繁華街へ赴く彼女を描きました。
遊び女は「歩き巫女」とも呼ばれ巫女としての役割も持ち、ジプシーのように旅をしながら生活をしていた、いわば平安時代の旅芸人兼娼婦です。後に定住し、かの有名な遊郭の遊女となりますが、歌や踊りが上手く教養もあって、皆の憧れの対象だったと言います。
この作品が、世界中のファンを魅了するProjekt Melodyの「遊び」の一部となったらとても光栄です。

In this work, Projekt Melody, who crosses hentai culture and art, is reimagined as a modern-day "Asobime" (playful woman) and depicted as she goes to the nightlife of downtown Japan.
Also known as "walking shrine maidens," these women were traveling entertainers and prostitutes of the Heian period (794-1185), who lived their lives as gypsies while traveling. Later, she settled down and became a prostitute in a famous brothel, where she sang and danced well and was well educated.
It would be a great honor for me if this piece could be part of Projekt Melody's "play" that attracts fans from all over the world.

アイアンマウスさんが形作る愛らしくも悪魔的なネットの世界へと繋ぐ扉を、異界への入り口ともされる鏡で表現しました。 この鏡の扉の境界は常に曖昧で、願えばいつでも彼女に会い、 話す事ができるという意味を込めて描かせていただきました。 また、モチーフアイテムを祭壇のように飾り、冥界の怪しさを含ませつつも配信上での明るさ、キュートさを感じるような雰囲気を目指しました。

The door that connects to the lovely and devilish net world formed by Ironmouse is represented by a mirror, which is also considered a gateway to the other world.
The boundary of this mirror door is always vague, I painted it with the meaning that you can see and talk to her anytime if you wish.
I also decorated the motif items like an altar, aiming to create an atmosphere that includes the mysteriousness of the underworld, but also a sense of brightness and cuteness on the stream.

I was attracted by her mischievousness and loveliness, and I proceeded with the work hoping to express them in an attractive manner.  I put a lot of effort into the dynamism and composition of the illustration, and I think it has a very powerful finish.

VShojo期待の新星、Henyaさんを描かせていただきました。貴重な機会を与えていただきまして感謝しております。 ミステリアスな雰囲気を漂わせながら、キュートでパワフルに活動を続ける彼女の魅力を伝えられるよう意識して制作に当たりました。孤独な生活から抜け出す転機となったキューブを作品の中に取り入れたいと思い、今彼女の周りにいるたくさんのリスナーをキューブに見立て、彼女を支える月として表現しました。このイラストで困難を解決しながら成長していく彼女の活動を少しでも支えられれば嬉しいです。

I had the pleasure of drawing Henya, a rising star of VShojo's expectations. Thank you very much for giving me this precious opportunity.
I was conscious of conveying the appeal of her cute and powerful activities, while giving off a mysterious vibe, as I worked on this piece. I wanted to incorporate the cube in my work, which was the turning point for her to escape from her lonely life, so I represented the many listeners who are now around her as the cube, as the moon that supports her. I would be happy if this illustration could support her activities as she grows while resolving her difficulties.

Vtuberは主にリアルに在るものがバーチャルな空間に受肉した姿ですが、そのデジタルな存在たちは現在個性を得て、世の中に浸透しています。
多くの人がいわゆる「中の人」の情報を出さないようにしている中、リアルの身体とデジタルの身体を行き来するksonさんは稀有な存在であり、その存在がさらに我々の世界との境界を曖昧にし、身近に溶け込んでいくのだと感じます。
今回制作させていただいた作品では「肖像画」という形にバーチャルな姿を落とし込むことで、ksonさんの姿の曖昧さを表現しました。

Vtubers are mainly the incarnation of real things in virtual space, but these digital beings are now gaining individuality and permeating the world.
While many people try to avoid giving out information about the so-called "person inside," I feel that kson is a rare existence, one that goes back and forth between real and digital bodies, further blurring the boundaries between our world and theirs, and blending in with ours. In the work I produced this time, I expressed the ambiguity of kson's appearance by incorporating his virtual form into the form of a "portrait".

この絵は、袋につめた絵具を絞り出すという方法で描いています。そこでは、自分の思い通りに線をコントロールすることが難しいため、何度も重層的に重ねることで、なんとかイメージを立ち上がらせています。それは同時に儚くほどけていきそうな見た目をしており、イメージとしては不安定な状態です。
この技法を用いてキャラクターをいくつも描く中で、そのキャラクターのイメージを超えて、（彼女のように）別の存在へと昇華していけるような可能性を探ろうとしています。

This painting is done by squeezing paint out of a bag. Since it is difficult to control the lines as one wishes, I have managed to make the image stand out by layering the layers over and over again. At the same time it has the appearance of being fragile and unraveling, making it unstable as an image.
In drawing a number of characters using this technique, I am trying to explore the possibility that the image of the character can be elevated to another existence (like her) beyond the image of the character.
